True Blue Week -- Last Day

Dear Maria, When you were little, you liked to play on this blue crib mat.  You really loved to watch the monkeys and kick the ball with your feet.  Your little legs were moving all of the time.  The Bee's House was the top bar of this crib.  Little lamb was another of your favorites.  Everyone loved to play with you on your blue mat.

For the Fourth of July, your family got all decorated up and joined the other families where you live for a wonderful celebration.  Your mommy bought flags and hats and a scarf for Daisy.  Don't you think you guys look spiffy?  My favorite color is the blue in your mommy and daddy's hats.  You are going to have so much fun with your family.  Love you, Grandma

Dear Maria,  I love the blue of water.  This year we have a pond with lots of water.  I know you like water, too.  It is helpful to take a bath after you eat because you turn the color of whatever food you eat.  I notice that your mom gets you ready for your bath before you even start eating.  You are a cutie.

Dear Maria, When Grandma thinks pink she thinks of the roses she gets for special occasions like Mother's Day or Valentine's Day.  When you think pink, do you think of grabbing the long pink tail of your monkey?  Do you still have the buzzy bug that Grandma bought you?  It was a tickle me pink surprise the first time it made that sound.  Love, Grandma

Dear Maria,  When I Think Pink, I think of the tulips that Cassie planted this winter.  Early in the Spring, they came up and were so pretty.  They were all different colors, but the ones I liked best were pink.  Do you like grandma's Think Pink Week?  I love you, Grandma

Dear Maria, One snowy day in February Cassie built a snowman.  She rolled and rolled three big balls of snow and stacked them high.  Then she decorated it two different ways.   Pink hats, pink lips, and a pink scarf--wow!!!  She made a great looking snowman.  Don't you think?  It's a wonderful way to think pink.
Winter is coming, maybe you will be able to build a snowman, too!

A naughty Cat

Dear Maria,  I am starting a new blog just for you.  I am still hoping to get some videos on here so I can read stories to you.  But today I want to tell you about my naughty cat.  His name is Napolean.  I had to ask Cassie what his name was, because I usually just call him cat.  He doesn't want to mind at all.  Cassie snuggles him and he plays innocent like a baby and out of nowhere he will bite her.  If you walk by, he likes to reach out and grab you.  If you ignore him he will reach out and claw you.  When you come to visit, he is going out into the solarium.  He stalks your puppy.  Daisy doesn't like him at all.  He is just the naughtiest kitty in the whole wide world.
